Lesley's Business Machines now LBM UK Limited was established in 1959 by Douglas Hagger, selling mainly new and secondhand typewriters and furniture to the local business community.

It seemed a natural progression to diversify into supplying office and retail stationery from the original premises on Bancroft, Hitchin, swiftly becoming one of the biggest commercial and retail stationers in the county.

Following Hagger seniors retirement in 1990, the business was taken over by managing director Paul Hagger, Douglas Hagger's younger son. Quickly settling in after a successful career as a representative with a blue chip office products manufacturer Paul has brought further strength and diversity to an already thriving company.

In 1999 LBM UK opened a specialised art store selling a full range of artist products from Winsor and Newton.

Most recently, in keeping with the fast and changing world of e-commerce LBM UK have launched an online ordering system for their stationery and office products range with the Artists products being added in the near future.

We also have a very busy Ebay Shop selling Winsor and Newton artist canvas along with a range of specialist and one off products.
